After a fairly restful January, I’ve managed to get myself involved in lots more projects.  This weekend is the start of http://www.resurgam.ie Saggitarius series.  I’m singing in Concert 1 and Concert 3.  I’m also preparing for Emma O’Halloran’s new piece for myself, David Bremner (piano) and Enda Collins (french horn).  She won the National Concert Hall’s Jerome Hynes Bursary and was commissioned to write a piece for performance in the New Music Dublin.  This will be closely followed by a performance in a festival in Smock Alley Boys’ School on March 3rd.  It is a collaborative event put on by Anne-marie ni Churainn (poet) with Kit Fryatt (poet) and Ed Devane (sound artist).

Somewhere in between these performances I will be preparing The Seafarer by Grainne Mulvey for recording at the end of February and also the Gerald Barry works are being recorded with the National Chamber Choir.
