I am releasing “Great Women”, a powerful new mini-album in collaboration with composer Gráinne Mulvey. The sole work on this new recording is a 26-minute piece titled “Great Women” for voice and electronics. Both Irish and based in Ireland, we have been collaborating together for over a decade. This release is ourr most ambitious yet, bringing together some amazing historical figures from Ireland’s history including Countess Markievicz, Rosie Hackett and Ireland’s former Presidents, Prof. Mary Robinson and Prof. Mary McAleese. These voices are not often heralded but have been hugely instrumental in shaping modern Ireland.
