It’s pretty amazing to be reading about this highly intelligent woman and finding out more about her. I’ve been thinking about the sounds – how do I sonify the speeds she enabled the Turbinia to travel at – beating all speed records at the time for Steam Vessels – how do I sonify her advocacy for women. She achieved so much in her life while also enabling other women to thrive. Many thanks to Maynooth University who are allowing me time to ponder all of these things while also developing my skills in sound.
